We empower individuals for social and economic growth through relationship and opportunity. We believe individuals use their power and influence to break the cycles of poverty.
With relationship in hand, we have made a strategic set of programs available to the people we serve.
These programs work together to address critical stages in the cycle of poverty, like high school graduation + recidivism. We walk alongside people as they work their way through our programs, empowering entire families to break the cycle of poverty.
Good Samaritan Ministries of the Metro East
Good Samaritan Ministries of the Metro East (GSM) is a faith-based registered 501(c)(3) charitable, benevolent, social, and educational nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing local communities. Our primary focus areas include equipping individuals for Christ-like living, family stability, academic support, feeding the homeless and those in need, and affordable transitional housing. We strive to transform lives and foster sustainable growth for stronger, more resilient individuals, families, and communities.
Through an international network of Affiliates, I Support the Girls (ISTG) collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
At Connections to Success, we’re dedicated to helping our participants overcome obstacles to employment by providing wrap-around, holistic support. We walk alongside individuals and families as they create a new path for the future, develop new skills, and take actionable steps towards lasting success.
Through our programs, we provide job readiness training, life coaching and mentoring, professional clothing, employer connections, career support, and access to essential resources. And we don’t stop after employment. We help our participants continue to grow and flourish through our professional groups, community events, and family nights – walking alongside them each step of the way.
At Restoration House STL we are restoring hope by teaching healthy habits for success. We are not a one-and-done organization who adds names to a list to make their numbers look big. We put in the time and care it takes to create lasting change. We’re not building stick huts in the sand – we’re laying brick foundations on the Rock.
